General Physical Therapy
Our physical therapists help clients to regain their strength and balance, prevent falls, increase range of motion, and decrease pain. Through therapeutic exercise programs, clients can increase their strength, muscle function, coordination, endurance, and mobility. Clients are referred to the program for rehabilitation following severe injuries and illness such as spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, stroke, amputation, orthopedic injuries or neuromuscular disorders, which result in a loss of function. The overall goal of rehabilitation is to help the client become as independent and self-reliant as possible. Each aspect of the program focuses on helping the client function more independently at home, in the community, and at work or school.
